Egypt Canal Sugar 5700 TPD Project
Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd. and Canal Sugar Company of Egypt signed the main construction contract for the 5700 ton daily sugar refining plant in Cairo, Egypt on March 28, 2019.
On May 10, 2022, the Canal Sugar sugar factory in Egypt, constructed by CDI, successfully produced its first ton of refined white sugar. The Canal Sugar daily production of 5700 tons of white sugar refining plant project in Egypt is currently the world's largest white sugar refining production line.
It adopts secondary evaporation, vacuum compression technology, and vertical continuous white sugar crystallization system to recycle steam multiple times. It is currently the largest and most capable white sugar crystallization system in the world in terms of volume and unit time processing capacity, with production and energy consumption at the world's advanced level. During the period of project construction the project quality and progress received high praise from the owner.
