Signing of Turnkey Contract for 2000TPD Project in Kazakhstan with Heidelberg

CDI signed the turnkey contract for Caspi 2000TPD clinker cement plant project in Kazakhstan with LLP Caspi Cement of Heidelberg Group on November 23. Under this contract, CDI will build on turnkey basis, for LLP Caspi Cement, a green field cement plant with capacity of 2000 TPD in Shetpe, Mangistauskaya Oblast, Kazakhstan. Mr. Kempe Roman, General Manager of HeidelbergCement Kazakhstan, and Mr. Chen Tao, Vice President of CDI, signed the contract for and on behalf of the parties, while Mr. Ernest Jelito, Director Global HTC, Mr. Jiao Feng, Chairman of the Board of CDI, and Mr. Shen Anchang, Secretary of Party Committee and Directing Vice General Manager of CDI were present at the signing ceremony.

CDI will provide engineering design, equipment supply, civil construction, erection, commissioning, technical service and performance testing to the project and then hand over to the Employer a well-operational plant. The contract of the project is based on FIDIC conditions, and all the process technologies and main equipments are of CDI’s own proprietary. This project is another corporation between Heidelberg Group and CDI after Guangzhou Yuexiu Project.
