CEMEX 1.5Mt/a slag cement grinding project in UAE has passed performance test

On December 20, 2007, CEMEX 1,500,000 t/a slag cement grinding project in UAE has passed its 48-hour performance test organized by the Owner.

This turnkey project was co-contracted by Chengdu Design and Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd. (CDI) and China National Building Material Equipment Company (CBMEC), which was the first EPC project signed between CEMEX and Chinese companies, and also was another important project in UAE after UCC 10,000t/d and ABMC 10,000t/d clinker cement production line constructed by the general contractors. This project is located in Jebel Ali Industry Park, Dubai, UAE. CDI was responsible for supplying project design, civil construction, mechanical and electrical equipment supplying, erection and commissioning.
