Visit of Chairman of Board to Lafarge GXP2 Project Team

On September 19, 2010, Mr. Jiao Feng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CDI, paid a visit to Lafarge GXP2 Project Site and extended his best regards to the project team members.

Although under the extremely hot weather,  Mr. Jiao Feng firstly inspected the construction site and inquired in details about project implementation and execution, ranging from design optimization to civil construction, from safety management measures to contingency plan formulation, from project schedule control to construction progress supervision, from subcontracting arrangement to labor management and financial control, as well as the problems and difficulties confronted by the project team such as small working areas, tight erection schedule and etc., to which Mr. Jiao Feng gave out his guideline suggestions.

Mr. Jiao Feng extended his full recognition to the good results achieved by the project team and affirmed that up to now GXP2 Project has been under standard and well-ordered construction with strictly controlled schedule and quality and more importantly "zero accident" for consecutive more than 500,000 hours. The hard working of the project team has been acknowledged by the Owner, the local government, the subcontractors and the labor workers, which has not only resulted from the endeavors and efforts of the project team but also represented remarkable improvement of the turnkey contracting management of CDI. At this time with the Mid-Autumn Festival is coming, Mr. Jiao Feng sincerely expressed his appreciation to the devotions and excellent performances of the project team and sent his Mid-Autumn Festival blessing.

However, Mr. Jiao emphasized that the success of any project comes from the joint efforts of the company as a whole. Besides the project team, CDI is provided with numbers of experts of rich experiences and excellent expertise as well as plenty cash flow and bank credit line, which the project team shall make full use of to ensure the project to be implemented as scheduled with high quality and high efficiency. Moreover, Mr. Jiao expected the project team to make persistent efforts to take safety, schedule and quality as top priorities and be well prepared for the works of next stage.
