EPC Turnkey Contract for 33/11kV Power Grid Substation Signed by Sinoma-CDI with Riyadh Cement Company (RCC) of Saudi Arabia
OnDecember 14, 2025, Chengdu Design & Research Institute ofBuilding Materials Industry Co., Ltd. (Sinoma-CDI) signed the EPC(Engineering, Procurement and Construction) Turnkey Contract for33/11kV Power Grid Substation with Riyadh Cement Company (RCC) ofSaudi Arabia in Riyadh.
Sinoma-CDIand RCC have successively signed and smoothly implemented multipleengineering projects, including the raw material and cement conveyingsystem renovation project, bulk system renovation project, andclinker silo reinforcement project, laying a solid foundation forcooperation between the two parties. There are in total 16 local andinternational contractors bidding for this 33/11kV Power GridSubstation EPC Turnkey Project, and in the end Sinoma-CDI as thewinner is awarded the Project by RCC, marking cooperation between thetwo parties extended from production systems to the field of on-sitepower supply and infrastructure.
ThisProject is also a breakthrough for Sinoma-CDI in the powerengineering industry in Saudi, following its successful completion ofmain substation projects in Egypt by EPC turnkey mode, such as GOEArish 66/11kV 2x40MVA, GOE Beni Suef 220/11kV 9x45MVA, and EC Sohag66/11kV 2x50MVA, and it holds positive significance for businessstructure expansion of Sinoma-CDI in Saudi. Upon completion, theProject will provide more stable and safe power support for theproduction and operation of RCC's factory. On the signing day, theproject teams of both parties completed the confirmation of projectsite handover, and preparations for implementation has officiallybeen commenced.
Thesuccessful signing of this Project is a fruitful result of activelyresponding to the strategic deployment of the Group and SinomaInternational, continuously promoting localized operations in theSaudi market, consolidating cooperation with key customers, anddeeply exploring the renovation market by Sinoma-CDI. It will lay asolid foundation and broaden the fields of business operation forSinoma-CDI to further develop in the engineering market in Saudi andMiddle East.
