The construction project of vegetable freezer and concentrated juice factory undertaken by CDI in Giza, Egypt on October 6th is not only an important extension of its overseas engineering map,this project marks a crucial transition for CDI from the traditional cement engineering field to the food industry infrastructure field.
As a core enterprise under China National Building Materials Group, its technological accumulation in large-scale steel structure construction, elector-mechanical system integration, and other areas (such as EPC experience in cement production lines with a capacity of over 5000t/d) has successfully migrated to cold chain warehousing and food processing scenarios through this project.
More strategically significant is the breakthrough in diversifying business structures. Perfectly aligned with its "1+N" engineering diversification strategy, especially the experience accumulated in the field of cold chain logistics, it can be applied to serve related markets such as meat processing and pharmaceutical warehousing in the Middle East.
After the completion of the project, it will directly enhance the preservation capacity of Egyptian fruits and vegetables, opening up a new path for the company in the global food industry infrastructure field.
