Grand Ceremony for Celebration of Completion of HCC Cement Project with 5000 TPD Clinker Turnkey Contracted by CDI

On 5^th May 2013, a grand ceremony organized by the Owner was held at Hail City, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to celebrate the successful completion of HCC cement project with capacity of 5000TPD clinker undertaken by Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd. (CDI) on turnkey basis. About 200 guests were present at the ceremony, including HRH Prince Saud Bin Abdulmohsen, the Governor of Hail Province, Mr, Li Chengwen, the Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Wang You, the Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia, Saudi government officers, officers of Saudi Chamber of Commerce and Cement Association, HCC shareholders and cement producers in Saudi. Mr. Jiao Feng, Chairman of CDI, was invited to attend the ceremony and accept the Award conferred by the Prince of Saudi Arabia on behalf of Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd. (CDI). 

HCC was a project with hard construction conditions, tight time schedule and strict performance test requirements. For contract performance, Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd.(CDI) prepared carefully, organized elaborately, and, with the Owner’s supporting, completed the project within the contractual time schedule with high quality. After attainment of Normal Operation Conditions sustained for 20 continuous days in March, Performance Guarantee Test for kiln system was carried out in April. All performance guarantee figures including output, quality, heat consumption, power consumption and clinker temperature even excel the contractual guarantee figures, which was highly appraised by the Officers of Chinese Embassy and Commercial Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia and the Owner.

Successful completion of HCC project with various technical figures achieved at advanced international level demonstrates that contract performance of Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd. (CDI) has come to a higher stage.
