Signature of the Turnkey Package Contract for Lafarge GXP2 2500t/d Project

Recently, CDI has signed the EPC contract with Lafarge Shuion Sichuan Shuangma Yibin Cement Manufacture Co., Ltd. for GXP2 2500t/d clinker cement production line project in Gongxian. The Contract was signed by Mr. Chen Tao, the Vice President of CDI and Mr. Vinh-Kok Quach, the Project Director of Lafarge SCBU on behalf of each party, under the witness of Lafarge GXP2 project team, Mr. Sun Zhihong, the Vice President of CDI, Mr. Wang Wanhong, Director of the Overseas Marketing Department of CDI, Mr. Gao Ying, Deputy Director of the Overseas Marketing Department of CDI, Mr. Du Xiuguang, the Design Manager, and Mr. He Jiao, the Deputy Project Manager.

Located in Gongxian Yibin, Sichuan Province, the project covers the scope from limestone crushing to cement packing and dispatching and CDI will provide a turkey package service to Lafarge such as engineering, equipment procurement and supply, commissioning and training. The contract comes into force upon its signature and the schedule starts to count upon CDI’s receipt of the advanced payment and Lafarge’s issuance of NTP (Notice to Proceed). It is scheduled to pass the performance test in 19 months from NTP.

This project is not only another cement production line project with Lafarge after the projects in Dujiangyan and 同柰 Vietnam, but also represents that CDI’s cooperation with the top international clients like Lafarge are going deeper and profounder.
