Successful Igniting of EPCC 10,000TPD Clinker Cement Production Line Undertaken by Sinoma-CDI on Turnkey Basis in Saudi
At 21:00 local time on February 21, 2026, EPCC 10,000TPD clinker cement production line undertaken by Sinoma-CDI on turnkey basis in Saudi, was successfully ignited at one attempt, marking the official entry of this 10,000TPD cement production line into trial production stage.
Located in the desert area of eastern Saudi Arabia, the EPCC project has been confronted with extreme climates such as scorching heat and frequent sandstorms. Facing up to the challenges, the project team of Sinoma-CDI has strictly controlled the safety, quality and progress throughout the entire process by scientific organization and meticulous management. Eventually, it took less than 22 months to achieve successful ignition of the rotary kiln since coming into effect of the Contract, setting a new record of construction schedule for similar projects in Saudi Arabia, which has been a vivid illustration of Sinoma-CDI’s strong capabilities in overall planning and high-quality contract performance, and has won high praise from the client.
The blazing kiln fire not only lights up the foreign Gobi desert, but also carries the common aspirations of Chinese and Saudi builders. As a key project of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030", the project, after being put into production, will effectively ease the tension between supply and demand in the cement market of eastern Saudi Arabia, and inject strong impetus into boosting regional economic development and creating employment opportunities. Lending another fruitful achievement to China-Saudi cooperation with this benchmark project, Sinoma-CDI has demonstrated its sense of responsibility as a member of CNBM to take a root in overseas market and serve the whole world.
